Job summary

The One Academy of Communication Design – Petaling is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily kitchen operations, prepare ingredients, and maintain hygiene according to standards.

Candidates with kitchen experience are preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply; training will be provided. You will report to the kitchen manager and assist with cleaning, stock handling, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience is an added advantage, but fresh candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Handle food preparation according to company standards
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures
• Report food quality, stock or equipment issues to manager
• Support daily kitchen operations and tasks assigned by manager
• Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for subsequent use by the chef
• Sweep and mop floors, as required
• Clean trash cans and dispose of refuse on a regular basis
• Arrange kitchen items and stock
• Support daily kitchen operations and tasks as assigned
