Job summary

Dynx Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a kitchen assistant to wash plates, glassware, pots and pans by hand or with industrial dishwashers, and to clean and sanitize cooking equipment, countertops, sinks and walls. You will sweep, mop and maintain clean kitchen floors in a fast-paced service environment.

You will handle waste disposal, restock dishes, assist the culinary team with basic prep, ensure chefs have clean tools during busy hours, and follow strict health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Wash plates, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans by hand or using industrial dishwashing machines.
• Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, countertops, sinks, and walls.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean kitchen floors.
• Handle proper waste disposal, garbage segregation, and trash clearing.
• Restock clean dishes, glasses, and utensils to designated storage areas.
• Assist the culinary team with basic food prep (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables) when needed.
• Ensure chefs have continuous access to clean tools and cookware during busy service hours.
• Follow strict health, safety and hygiene regulations (wearing proper gear, using chemicals safely).

Ensure chefs have continuous access to clean tools and cookware during busy service hours.

Follow strict health, safety, and hygiene regulations (such as wearing proper gear and using chemicals safely).
