Job summary

Kum Hoi Engineering Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Malaysia to bridge customers with Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing teams. You will review drawings, run costing, prepare quotations and manage projects through to delivery.

The role suits someone who enjoys engineering, problem solving, and engaging with customers while learning the business side of manufacturing. Fresh graduates are welcome and travel for customer meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Understand customer drawings and specifications to shape manufacturing solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and project discussions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer enquiries, RFQs, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing to determine manufacturing solution.
• Review costing and prepare quotations from customer drawings.
• Follow up with customers on technical, project and commercial matters.
• Attend customer meetings and visits as required.
