Zusammenfassung

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Manager in Malaysia to manage key telecom client relationships and drive revenue growth. You will be the primary contact, identify upsell opportunities, and onboard new logos for the organization.

Responsibilities include developing long-term client relationships, coordinating with sales, technical and support teams, and delivering regular account status reports. Strong communication and negotiation skills required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Diploma or Higher Diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven account management experience in telecom/tech.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience with enterprise or government accounts is a plus.

Role

We’re looking for a results-driven Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with key clients in selected industry in Malaysia. You’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction, identifying upsell opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic account management. You are also required to on board new customer / logo for the organization.

The Day-To-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with telecom clients
• Understand client needs and tailor telecom solutions to meet business objectives
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical, customer support) to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor account performance and proactively address issues or concerns
• Stay updated on telecom industry trends, products, and competitive landscape
• Identify growth opportunities within existing and new accounts and support new business development
• Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and client feedback

About You

• Minimum Diploma or Higher Diploma, preferably Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in account management, preferably in telecommunication or tech related industries.
• Added advantage – Strong understanding of telecom services (e.g., mobile, broadband, enterprise solutions)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with enterprise clients or government accounts
