Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Key Accounts Manager to join our client in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The role focuses on managing and expanding sales with key accounts in the FMCG distribution sector, with strong emphasis on on-the-go channels such as petrol marts and convenience retailers.

Qualifications include a Diploma/degree in Business Studies, Marketing or Economics and 2–3 years of relevant experience. Working hours are Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm and Sat 9:00am–1:00pm, with a salary range of RM

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in On-The-Go channel within FMCG or similar retail environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales with existing accounts.
• Develop and implement account plans and promotional activities to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers to strengthen business partnerships.
• Monitor, track, and analyse sales performance, promotion effectiveness, and market trends.
• Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional agreements with key accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage product listings, launches, and trade marketing within key accounts.
• Address and resolve stock-outs, delivery challenges, and in-store execution gaps.

Key Responsibilites:

• Manage and grow sales with existing accounts
• Develop and implement account plans and promotional activities to achieve sales targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers to strengthen business partnerships
• Monitor, track, and analyse sales performance, promotion effectiveness, and market trends
• Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional agreements with key accounts
• Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth business operations
• Manage product listings, new product launches, and trade marketing activities within key accounts
• Address and resolve operational issues, including stock-outs, delivery challenges, and in-store execution gaps
• Minimum Diploma/Degreein Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in On-The-Go channel likePetrol Mart, Convenience Stores and similar Retail Outlets
• Demonstrate strong understanding of FMCG industry/business/products

Working hours:Mon - Fri (8:00am - 5:00pm) &Sat (9:00am - 1:00pm)

Salary Package: RM 7,000 - RM 10,000 (Probation 6 months)
