Objective
The Key Account Executive (KAE) is responsible for supporting the management and growth of CVS, discounter shop, pharmacy accounts. This includes maintaining strong relationships with clients, executing sales strategies and ensuring smooth operations to achieve sales targets in the given customers.
Position Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Sales Growth
- Customer Business Planning: Assist in managing CVS accounts by providing market or outlets insight, sales reporting and other operation information.
- Promotion Planning & Execution: Audit key monthly activities and share POSM with CVS accounts according to the planned timeline.
- Business Review & Market Visit: Conduct regular market visits to store level and gather feedback such as building rapport with store level. Identify potential growth areas, opportunities and address immediate concerns.
- Payment & Claims Coordination: Monitoring payment status, validating customer claims and ensuring timely submission to Finance.
2. Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain strong relationships with CVS accounts to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Support the execution of trade marketing activities, promotions and resolving customer complaints.
- Prepare reports, presentations and sales data analysis for decision-making.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Update sales forecasts based on market trends, sales performance and account feedback.
3. Other Job Authorities
- Negotiate promotions and trade terms within the approved budget.
- Recommend action plans to drive account growth and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal teams to address key account needs and resolve operational challenges.
- Coordinate with business partners on stock orders, deliveries and promotional activations.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluency in English is an added advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or the FMCG industry.
