Job summary

Grolite Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Vessel Operations Coordinator to monitor vessels’ operating performance through daily reports and to manage certificates and Q88 updates for the group’s fleet.

You will download all statutory class survey statuses for each vessel, serve as the focal point for SMS Manual Document Control, maintain month-end documents and related spreadsheets, ensure port clearance and bunker permits, compile cargo documents and voyage reports, maintain data accuracy and

• Monitor vessels’ operating performance via daily reports.
• Apply and renew certificates for group vessels.
• Maintain up-to-date Q88 for group vessels.
• Download statutory class survey statuses and distribute to vessels.
• Focal point for SMS Manual Document Control.
• Maintain month-end documents from vessels with accurate data and spreadsheets.
• Ensure port clearance and bunker permits for each voyage.
• Compile cargo documents and voyage reports.
• Handle other tasks as assigned by superiors.

• Focal point for SMS Manual Document Control.
• To maintain all month end documents from vessels and ensure data correctness and integrity in a timely manner and maintain necessary spreadsheets for related tasks or to facilitate operations.
• Ensure local customs procedures such as port clearance, bunker permit etc. to be fulfilled for each voyage.
• Compile cargo documents and reports for each voyage.
