Job summary

Teknicast Sdn Bhd is seeking a Junior Technician to join the Facilities & Maintenance team in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor. This full‑time role supports operations with maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting, contributing to high‑quality service delivery.

The position is entry‑to‑mid level, offering technical training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within a growing aluminium die casting group. Flexible arrangements may apply; shift duties could be involved.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant engineering field.
• 1–2 years of relevant technical experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and safety.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; basic diagnostic skills.
• Able to read, write and speak Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal functionality and KPI alignment.
• Coordinate and supervise projects; monitor contractor performance and schedules.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform basic repairs under supervision.

About the role\

\

We are seeking a Junior Technician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team at Teknicast Sdn Bhd. This is a full‑time position based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor. As a Junior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by providing technical expertise, maintenance, and troubleshooting services. This entry‑to‑mid‑level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills within a growing organisation and contribute directly to the delivery of quality services to our clients.\

Key responsibilities\

\

• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and according to KPI
\
• Coordinate and supervise project, monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed within schedule
\
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective solutions under supervision. Conduct basic repairs and replacements of faulty components.
\
• Assist senior technicians with equipment installation, calibration, and testing
\
• Assists with maintenance of building security and immediate responds to building emergency
\
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards on the job site
\
• To ensure 5'S maintain all the time at the working area and storage area/adhere to all safety requirement during work.
\
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for\

\

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or relevant Engineering field;
\
• 1-2 years of relevant technical experience, preferably in maintenance, installation, or field service roles. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong understanding of technical principles and mechanical systems
\
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
\
• Good knowledge and experience in single and three phase wiring with ability in troubleshooting;

• Able to speak, read and write Bahasa Malaysia and English
\
• Team Player with positive attitude
\
• Reliability and punctuality in attending to maintenance schedules and service calls

• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise

• Able to work long and flexible house and on shift duties
