Job summary

Right Recruit Malaysia seeks a Civil Engineering/Construction Management professional to supervise site activities in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure work follows plans, drawings, specifications and schedules, and coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure works are performed according to project plans, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Identify and resolve site and technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and outstanding matters.
• Follow up with relevant parties to resolve issues within timelines.
• Assist Project Manager / Site Manager with overall project coordination and execution.
• Ensure construction works are completed on time and to specification and quality.

Responsibility

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to coordinate effectively with contractors and different project stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks on site.

• Willing to travel / work on construction sites when required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
