Job summary

Inhesion (Asia) Limited is seeking a motivated Junior Operations Executive to join our factory team in Malaysia. The role centers on Purchasing & Procurement, involving sourcing and purchasing raw materials, consumables, equipment, spare parts, and other production needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, import/export, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to communicate with Chinese suppliers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end factory purchasing: source and procure raw materials, machinery, spare parts and other production supplies.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations; negotiate price, quality, specs, and delivery terms with local and overseas suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders, maintain purchasing records, and follow up on orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate imports with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams; monitor stock levels to prevent delays.
• Prepare packing lists and coordinate packing and shipment schedules with Production/Operations.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and organized Junior Operations Executive to join our factory team.

The primary focus of this position is Purchasing & Procurement, including the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, consumables, equipment, spare parts, and other factory requirements. The role will also involve working closely with Chinese and overseas suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and reliable supply.

The position will additionally support export shipping and commercial coordination, working closely with Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, Finance, Commercial, and other relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end factory purchasing: source and procure ceramic raw materials, machinery, equipment, spare parts, tools, and other production supplies.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations; negotiate price, quality, specifications, and delivery terms with local and overseas (including Chinese) suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders, maintain accurate purchasing records, and follow up on open orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate imports with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams (Warehouse, Production, Maintenance, Finance); monitor stock levels to prevent production delays.
• Prepare packing lists based on Packing Department data; coordinate packing and shipment schedules with Production/Operations.
• Arrange shipping labels and special marks per customer requirements; maintain complete records of packing lists, shipments, and pallet quantities.
• Liaise with the Commercial team on urgent shipments, special requirements, and shipment discrepancies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, import/export, logistics, or manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate with Chinese suppliers is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Willing to learn and work in a factory/manufacturing environment.
