Job summary

Gadang Group of Companies is seeking a Junior Project Planner to join our team at the Bukit Tinggi site office on a contract basis. You will develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules to track progress and meet milestones.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 2–4 years of planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and strong communication, data analysis and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction / Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a Project Planner within the construction industry
• Must be proficient in Primavera P6, with strong experience in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think critically
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Possess own transportation and be willing to work at our site office in Bukit Tinggi area.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules to track progress and meet key milestones
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient resource allocation
• Providing regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of the project
• Continuously optimising project plans to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensuring compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and industry best practices
