Job summary

Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Planner at Senior Engineer/Executive to Manager level. The role focuses on creating detailed project schedules, baselines, and recovery programs using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

You will monitor progress, analyze variances, and drive schedule recovery for large-scale projects in Malaysia. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least five years of construction planning experience, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and project controls.
• Extensive experience in large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed-development projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and work programs using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and revised construction programs.
• Establish project milestones, critical paths, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams to define construction sequences and execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and analyze variances.
• Track critical activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Update schedules regularly and issue progress reports.
• Develop manpower, equipment, and material deployment plans.
