Job summary

Rayxen Tech Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an entry‑level IT technician to diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop issues, install Windows, configure software, and upgrade components.

The role involves assembling custom PCs, assisting with CCTV and networking setups, and providing on‑site support. The ideal candidate has a IT‑related certificate or diploma, basic hardware knowledge, and a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, Windows and networking.
• Hands‑on interest in PC building and troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV and networking is an added advantage.
• Willing to learn new technologies and products.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, hardware, software and basic network issues.
• Perform PC/laptop setup, formatting, Windows installation, driver installation and software configuration.
• Upgrade and replace components such as RAM, SSD, HDD, GPU and other computer hardware.
• Assemble and test custom desktop PCs and gaming PCs.
• Assist with CCTV, networking, Wi‑Fi, printer and other IT equipment installation.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and equipment servicing.
• Provide technical support to walk‑in and business customers.
• Assist with on‑site installation and troubleshooting when required.
• Test newly received products and customer devices where necessary.
• Maintain proper service records and technical documentation.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical advice and suitable product recommendations.
• Keep up to date with new computer hardware, technology and IT products.
