Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a motivated Junior IT Infrastructure Executive to support our IT team. You will help ensure stable, secure, and available IT systems, networks, servers, and end-user devices across the organization.

Responsibilities include handling first and second level technical support, maintaining Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, backups, security measures, and documentation.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior IT Infrastructure Executive to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and availability of IT systems, networks, servers, and end-user devices. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.

Support and maintain Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and business software.

Assist in the administration and maintenance of servers, network infrastructure, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.

Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure.

Support user account management, including Active Directory, email accounts, and access permissions.

Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, backups, and recovery procedures.

Assist in implementing IT security measures, antivirus protection, and endpoint security.

Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of hardware, software licenses, and system configurations.

Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment maintenance and support.

Assist in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.

Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.

Perform any other duties assigned by your superior.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, Network Administration, or IT Support.

Experience in supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and IT hardware.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide excellent user support.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Willing to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical knowledge.
