Job summary

Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad is seeking a proactive Risk Management professional to lead identification, assessment and reporting of risks that could affect the company's reputation, safety, security and environment.

You will collaborate with departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, monitor effectiveness and prepare training workshops for staff, while presenting reports to Senior Management and the Board Risk Committee.

Qualifications

• Candidate possesses relevant qualifications in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Business Management or any related field.
• Ability to travel frequently for risk workshops and discussions with departments/entities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite will be an added advantage.
• Experience in presenting or preparing technical reports to the Board and Risk Management Committee (RMC).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong critical thinking, diplomacy, initiative and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Risk Identification & Assessment – identify potential risks impacting reputation, safety, security and environment.
• Risk Reporting – prepare reports and present findings to Senior Management and Board Risk Committee.
• Mitigation & Strategy Development – collaborate with departments to implement risk mitigation aligned with business goals.
• Compliance & Monitoring – monitor risk strategies and adjust to external changes.
• Workshops & Training – conduct risk workshops and provide staff training on risk awareness and processes.
• Other ad hoc assignments – assist risk owners and committees as needed.

Job description

Risk Identification & Assessment - To identify potential risks that could affect the company's reputation, safety, security and environment.

Risk Reporting - To prepare reports and present findings to Senior Management detailing risks, their impacts and mitigation strategies. Monthly reporting to Board Risk Committee.

Mitigation & Strategy Development - To collaborate with different departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure strategies are in line with overall business goals.

Compliance & Monitoring - To monitor risk management strategies to ensure they are effective. Adjust strategies as needed to adapt to new risks or changes in the external environment.

Workshops & Training - To conduct risk workshops with all departments to ensure the Risk Management Framework is functioning. To provide training support to staff regarding risk awareness, compliance and risk management process.

Other ad hoc assignments - To assist in other assignments as requested by Risk Owners, Senior Management, Risk Management Committee or Board.

Key Requirements:

Candidate possesses relevant qualifications in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Business Management or any related field.

Able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate (speak, read and write) in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Ability to travel frequently for risk workshops and discussions with departments/entities.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite will be an added advantage.

Experience in any direct presentation or preparation of technical reports to the Board and Risk Management Committee (RMC) will be an added advantage.

Ability to think critically and voice out concerns diplomatically.

Self-driven and independent in handling tasks assigned.

Being proactive, meticulous, good monitoring and follow-up skills, good interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to multitask to complete tasks assigned to meet deadlines.
