Job summary

ADVANCED DEFENCE SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Executive, Project Engineer (Protege-RTW) to join our team on a contract basis.

This role offers hands-on experience in planning, designing and delivering engineering projects within the defence sector, under mentorship from senior engineers. You will develop technical documentation, participate in meetings and site inspections, and collaborate with design, procurement and QA teams to ensure project objectives and timelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design and execution of engineering projects, working closely with senior project engineers and project managers.
• Assist in the development and review of technical documentation, including project specifications, design drawings and engineering reports.
• Participate in project meetings, site inspections and technical reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the coordination of resources, schedules and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering solutions and project decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities, progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement and quality assurance to deliver project objectives.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance and safety standards across all project activities.
