Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an OSH Coordinator to support safety programs and regulatory compliance across sites. You will assist in incident investigations, monitor safety conditions, and coordinate with SHC Sub-Committee on OSH implementation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in OSH, familiarity with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and ISO standards; travel locally and 5.5-day work are required. Fresh graduates with relevant study will be considered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of OSH experience.
• Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other OSH regulations.
• Fresh graduates with relevant study will be considered.
• Willing to travel locally if required.
• Willing to work 5.5 days (alternate Saturday off).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OSH activities and safety programs.
• Assist in incident investigations and prepare reports.
• Monitor workplace safety and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OSH, ISO).
• Coordinate with SHC Sub-Committee and branches on OSH implementation.

To coordinate with each SHC Sub-Committee on their respective OSH activity.

To coordinate the Annual Fire Drill.

To conduct and assist in the Incident Investigation Report.

System manuals, procedures, ISO and Environmental, social and governance (ESG) related documentation.

To monitor and make a recommendation about unsafe conditions at work place.

To coordinate and support other branches and inter-company on implementing OSH requirements.

Handle compliance with regulatory requirements such as PMT / PMA for Air compressors, Permit Diesel to KPDNKK, Truck Mounted Crane and etc.

Any other task related to Safety & Health at the workplace and OHS activities.

Any other ad-hoc as requested by the immediate superior.

Job Requirement:

Reporting to Senior ESH Executive

Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and others related to OSH.

At least 2 years of working experience in OSH.

Fresh graduate with relevant study will be considered

Knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 37001 are added advantages.

Willing to travel locally if required.

Willing to work 5.5 day (alternate Saturday off).
