Job summary

Jubin BMS (1990) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Health, Safety and Environmental Executive to coordinate OSH activities across branches in Johor Bahru, and to support the annual fire drill and incident investigations, while monitoring conditions for safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in OSH (fresh graduates considered), knowledge of ISO 9001/45001/14001/37001 is a plus, willing to travel locally, and comfortable with a 5.5 day week with alternate Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and other OSH-related regulations.
• At least 2 years of OSH working experience; fresh graduates with relevant study will be considered.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 45001/ISO 14001/ISO 37001 is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel locally as required.
• Willing to work a 5.5 day week (alternate Saturday off).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SHC Sub-Committee on OSH activities.
• Coordinate the Annual Fire Drill.
• Conduct and assist in Incident Investigation Reports.
• Monitor and recommend on unsafe conditions at the workplace.
• Coordinate and support other branches/ inter-company OSH implementations.
• Handle regulatory compliance such as PMT/PMA for equipment and other OSH requirements.
• Assist with any other OSH tasks as directed by superior.

Job description

To coordinate with each SHC Sub-Committee on their respective OSH activity.

To coordinate the Annual Fire Drill.

To conduct and assist in the Incident Investigation Report.

System manuals, procedures, ISO and Environmental, social and governance (ESG) related documentation.

To monitor and make a recommendation about unsafe conditions at work place.

To coordinate and support other branches and inter-company on implementing OSH requirements.

Handle compliance with regulatory requirements such as PMT / PMA for Air compressors, Permit Diesel to KPDNKK, Truck Mounted Crane and etc.

Any other task related to Safety & Health at the workplace and OHS activities.

Any other ad-hoc as requested by the immediate superior.

Job Requirement

Reporting to Senior ESH Executive

Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and others related to OSH.

At least 2 years of working experience in OSH.

Fresh graduate with relevant study will be considered

Knowledge of ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 37001 are added advantages.

Willing to travel locally if required.

Willing to work 5.5 day (alternate Saturday off).
