Excel Rim Sdn Bhd is seeking an EHS professional to develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies and ISO-compliant systems. You will ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and monitor contractor safety and risk reduction programs.
The role involves preparing monthly EHS reports, maintaining records, and liaising with regulatory agencies and environmental consultants. Strong communication and English/Bahasa Malaysia skills are essential.

Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and ISO-compliant systems to support regulatory and corporate requirements.
Ensure full compliance with legal, customer, and company EHS standards across all operations.
Conduct regular EHS onsite inspections to identify risks and ensure compliance.
Monitor contractor safety compliance, including access control and safety orientation programs.
Collaborate with SHO and competent persons to monitor EHS performance, ensure timely regulatory submissions, and implement risk reduction programs.
Coordinate with Purchasing for PPE, safety equipment, maintenance services, and vendor quotations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify unsafe conditions or hazards and implement corrective actions.
Identify and implement industry best practices to continuously improve workplace safety.
Prepare monthly EHS performance reports and KPIs for management review.
Maintain EHS records, reports, SOPs, inspections, permits, and statutory documentation for compliance purposes
Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and environmental consultants.
Monitor regulatory updates from DOSH, NIOSH, DOE, and other authorities, and ensure timely implementation of new legal requirements.
Support sustainability projects, such as energy efficiency, biodiversity conservation, and pollution prevention.
Conduct internal EHS audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement.
Undertake additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Science or related field.
Working knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 standards
Minimum2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Good communication and reporting skills
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Able to work under minimum supervision
Self-motivated, positive working attitude
