Job summary

The Hub's Engineering in Balakong, Selangor is seeking a student trainee pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or related fields. You will gain hands-on experience with installation, testing, maintenance, and on-site support for technical equipment.

You will learn to follow technical instructions, work both independently and in a team, and contribute to documentation and safety procedures while traveling to

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of technical systems, equipment, hardware, and troubleshooting.
• Strong interest in retail technology, IT solutions, electronics, and technical equipment.
• Willing to learn and follow technical instructions and procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Responsible, proactive, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to perform on-site installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work in different environments when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment.
• Support basic troubleshooting and repair of technical issues.
• Assist with product preparation, testing, and deployment.
• Support on-site installation and servicing at customer locations.
• Maintain proper records and technical documentation.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
