Job summary

SLP Tech Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join the growing engineering team. This full-time role involves designing, developing, and implementing electrical and electronic systems from our Kota Kinabalu office, with mentorship from experienced engineers to build practical experience.

You will create technical drawings, support documentation, and site assessments while learning industry best practices and pursuing relevant certifications to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD software for drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical testing instruments and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Prepare Material Approval Submission, Request for Inspection, Method of Statements, etc.
• Attend site meetings and evaluations; prepare site progress reports.

About the role

SLP Tech Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position based in our Kota Kinabalu office, where you will play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical and electronic systems. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to innovative projects that drive the company forward, gaining valuable practical experience whilst supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Material Approval Submission, Request for Inspection, Method of Statements and etc
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software
• Attend Site Meetings and Evaluations
• Prepare site progress report

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and measurement instruments
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
