OM Materials (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd is looking for an Electrical/Engineering associate to support the plant's electrical systems in Samalaju, Bintulu. You will work under the Electrical Engineer to ensure safe and stable operations and help with maintenance planning and spare parts control.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Mandarin fluency is preferred for interactions with Mandarin-speaking staff and vendors. This on-site role is based in Samalaju, Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Under supervision, assist Electrical Engineer to ensure electrical systems in the plant operate safely and stably.
• Assist with spare part inventory monitoring per procedures.
• Monitor planned maintenance schedules and assist in coordinating maintenance activities.
• Assist with regulatory compliance of the plant.
• Assist with plant equipment availabilities reports.
• Assist with failure/breakdown recovery efforts.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by superior(s).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Electrical Engineer, assist the Electrical Engineer to ensure the electrical systems in the plant are operating well in a safe and stable manner;
• Assist with spare part inventory monitoring in accordance to specified procedures;
• Monitor planned maintenance schedules and assist in formulating, coordinating and executing maintenance activities;
• Assist with achievement of regulatory compliance of the plant;
• Assist with formulating and maintaining plant equipment availabilities reports;
• Assist with failure/breakdown recovery efforts;
• Carries out all other duties or works as assigned to you and/or as directed by your superior(s).

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized tertiary education institution.
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Fresh-graduates are encourage to apply.

Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role is requested to deal with Mandarin speaking foreign employees/vendor.
