OUS Group is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager in Malaysia to support daily warehouse and inventory operations, ensure stock availability, and maintain cost control across materials and spare parts.

You will lead a small team, drive accuracy through counts and reporting, collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Site teams, and uphold safety and internal controls.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on cost tracking, stock costing, and inventory analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience using WMS / ERP systems and Excel or reporting tools is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support and manage daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials and spare parts.
• Ensure optimal stock availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels and stock value.
• Track, monitor, and analyse inventory, logistics, and warehouse-related costs; identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare accurate stock costing, valuation, inventory ageing, and variance reports.
• Oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and stocktakes; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff to achieve targets for accuracy, productivity, safety, and timelines.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Site teams to ensure smooth material flow for mining operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials and spare parts.
• Ensure optimal stock availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels and stock value.
• Track, monitor, and analyse inventory, logistics, and warehouse‑related costs; identify cost‑saving and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Prepare accurate stock costing, valuation, inventory ageing, and variance reports.
• Oversee stock counts, cycle counts, and stocktakes; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
