Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in HDD, Open Cut, underground utilities, civil, or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Produce HDD alignment drawings, Open Cut drawings, shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and engineering standards.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and site teams to obtain project information and requirements.
• Prepare as-built drawings and project handover documentation.

As a Drafter, you'll be involved in preparing technical drawings for HDD and Open Cut projects, working alongside experienced engineers and project teams to bring ideas from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Technical Drafting & Drawing Preparation
   • Prepare, revise, and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
   • Produce HDD alignment drawings, Open Cut drawings, shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
   • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and engineering standards.
   • Maintain accuracy and consistency of all project drawings.
2. 2. Coordination & Technical Support
   • Work closely with Engineers, Project Managers, Surveyors, and Site Teams to obtain project information and requirements.
   • Incorporate site instructions, engineering revisions, and design changes into drawings.
   • Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical drafting issues.
   • Support project planning and execution through accurate drawing preparation.
3. 3. Documentation Management
   • Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.
   • Ensure proper filing, updating, and distribution of project drawings.
   • Monitor drawing submissions, approvals, and revision statuses.
   • Organise project files and maintain document control procedures.
4. 4. Site Coordination & As-Built Drawings
   • Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and project information.
   • Coordinate with site personnel to obtain actual site conditions.
   • Update drawings based on completed works and site changes.
   • Prepare as-built drawings and project handover documentation.
5. 5. Quality & Compliance
   • Verify dimensions, specifications, and technical details before submission.
   • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
   • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of engineering and project information.
6. 6. Ad-Hoc Duties
   • Perform any other duties assigned by Management or immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Experience in HDD, Open Cut, underground utilities, civil, or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Willing to visit project sites when required.
