Global Radiant Machine Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. – Johor Bahru, Johor invites applications for a Drafter to join our team in Puchong, Selangor.

You will prepare technical drawings for HDD and Open Cut projects, working with engineers and project teams to turn concepts into construction-ready plans. Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in HDD, Open Cut, underground utilities, civil, or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Drafting & Drawing Preparation using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Produce construction, shop, HDD alignment, Open Cut and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, Surveyors, and Site Teams to obtain project information.
• Update drawings with design changes and site instructions; verify accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.
• Prepare and compile as-built drawings for project handover and close-out.

Position Title: Drafter

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Puchong, Selangor

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Technical Drafting & Drawing Preparation
• Prepare, revise, and update technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Produce construction drawings, shop drawings, HDD alignment drawings, Open Cut drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and engineering standards.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of all project drawings.
• 2. Coordination & Technical Support
• Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, Surveyors, and Site Teams to obtain project information.
• Incorporate design changes, site instructions, and engineering revisions into drawings.
• Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical drafting issues.
• 3. Documentation Management
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.
• Ensure proper filing, updating, and distribution of project drawings.
• Monitor drawing submissions, approvals, and revision statuses.
• 4. As-Built Drawings & Project Close-Out
• Update drawings based on actual site conditions and completed works.
• Prepare and compile as-built drawings for project handover.
• 5. Quality & Compliance
• Verify dimensions, specifications, and technical details before submission.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company and project requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of project information.
• 6. Ad-Hoc Duties
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management or immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements:
