Job summary

Jurukur Perunding Services is seeking an entry-level Drafter to support senior drafters with creating and updating technical drawings using AutoCAD. You will prepare site plans, elevations, and details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

The role welcomes fresh graduates with a Diploma/Degree in Surveying and offers collaboration with project managers and site teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and a willingness to learn new technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for creating technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior drafters in creating and modifying technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD software.
• Prepare detailed drawings for projects, including site plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, ensuring proper version control and accessibility for project stakeholders.
• Perform basic calculations and data entry related to drafting tasks, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure drawings are up-to-date with site conditions and progress.
• Support the preparation of tender documents by providing necessary drawings and technical information.
