Job summary

Terra Cooling Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Draft Engineer to join our Engineering team in Malaysia. You will prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, support product development, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure designs meet customer requirements and engineering standards.

Responsibilities include creating proposal drawings, revising drawings per changes, and documenting production methods. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as 1 year experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of Bill of Quantities (BQ) preparation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support inter-department communication within Engineering.
• Document production methods, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Assist in planning fabrication and production processes based on designs.
• Prepare and calculate Bills of Quantities and material requirements.
• Maintain documentation and revision control of drawings.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Production, and Project teams.
• Perform other drafting duties as assigned by Engineering Manager.

About the Role

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience is an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in **AutoCAD**. Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
