Job summary

Celestica, located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking an Associate, Continuous Improvement to support the CI manager and team in defining a lean vision and deployment plans. You will learn Lean fundamentals through training and CI activities, working under supervision to execute CI assignments.

You will participate in yearly CI activities, Gemba, weekly improvements, Kaizen workshops, and root cause analysis, while designing line balancing and driving improvement ideas with area owners.

Qualifications

• Awareness of CI and lean basics.
• Diploma or equivalent education; geography may affect requirements.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow CI processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of Yearly CI activities plan and ensure that project goals are met.
• Participate in Gemba activities, perform weekly Improvement Activities, and provide suggestions to the Kaizen team.
• Participate in CI workshops (e.g., Kaizen, VSM).
• Perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Perform Daily Improvement Activity with area owner.
• Design Line Balancing for process improvement.
• Drive new ideas for improvement solutions with area owners.
