Job summary

Cohu Malaysia is seeking a Continuous Improvement Senior Engineer to drive product and process quality through validation, inspection, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead Lean Six Sigma deployment, Kaizen events, and MSA activities to support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes coaching teams, maintaining CI metrics, and delivering measurable improvements in lead time and efficiency within a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Yellow Belt and Green Belt training delivery at the Malaysia site, including scheduling, facilitation, and certification tracking.
• Coach and support DMAIC and Kaizen projects from definition to closure, including financial benefit tracking.
• Maintain and update the site CI project tracker with scope, owner, timeline, and financial targets.
