Job summary

Swarovski in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Buyer/Buyer to join our diverse team. You will participate in purchasing activities, select suppliers, negotiate terms, and track quotes as part of a global iconic brand, gaining exposure to end-to-end procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration or similar education.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision & able to work in a team.
• Customer service orientation with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and solution delivery focus.
• Strong coordinative and organizational skills with multitasking and tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ARIBA).

Responsibilities

• Purchasing within the frame of value limits as defined in Corporate Procurement Guidelines.
• Select suppliers from defined supplier pool and negotiate with suppliers.
• Solicit, track and review vendor quotes and prepare for review with business.
• Ensure compliance with Procurement strategies and policies.
• Build, document and update market and product knowledge for goods and services.
• Create and track purchase orders and requisitions.
• Collaborate with the local country organization and Spokes.
• Support material groups/categories in claim management and day-to-day claims.

About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Purchasing in alignment within the frame of value limits, as defined in the Corporate Procurement Guidelines
• Select suppliers from defined supplier pool, negotiate with suppliers
• Solicit, track and collect vendor quotes and prepare for review with business
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate Procurement strategies and policies
• Build, document and continuously update defined market and product knowledge for goods and services
• Create and track purchase orders, track and check purchase requisitions
• Ensure close collaboration with the local country organization and Spokes
• Support material groups/categories in claim management matters and handle day-to-day claims

About you
