Swarovski in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Buyer/Buyer to join our global team. You will manage purchasing activities within value limits, select suppliers, negotiate terms, and track quotes to support business needs.

This role requires collaboration with the local country organization and cross-functional partners. You will contribute to process improvements, maintain market knowledge, and ensure purchase orders are created accurately while upholding corporate procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration or similar.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

About The Job

• Purchasing in alignment within the frame of value limits, as defined in the Corporate Procurement Guidelines
• Select suppliers from defined supplier pool, negotiate with suppliers
• Solicit, track and collect vendor quotes and prepare for review with business
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate Procurement strategies and policies
• Build, document and continuously update defined market and product knowledge for goods and services
• Create and track purchase orders, track and check purchase requisitions
• Ensure close collaboration with the local country organization and Spokes
• Support material groups/categories in claim management matters and handle day-to-day claims

About You

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Business Administration or similar education
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and additional language capabilities is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision & able to work in team
• Customer service orientation, strong service partnership understanding and good communication and negotiation skills
• Continuous improvement mindset, process orientation and a solution delivery-oriented work approach
• Strong coordinative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ARIBA)
