Job summary

Icon Jco Puchong SDN BHD is seeking a Junior Account Admin in Malaysia to join our dynamic accounting team. This full-time role based in Puchong Jaya provides essential administrative and bookkeeping support to ensure smooth operation of our accounting functions.

You will work closely with senior staff to maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support various accounting operations crucial to our organisation.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
• Familiar with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, organisational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Help with bank reconciliation and checking financial transactions.
• Organise and maintain accounting documents, files, and records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and invoices when required.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding invoices and payment matters.
• Assist with filing, documentation, and general office administration.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
