Job summary

Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd is seeking a seasoned Marine Operations Supervisor for Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. You will monitor jetty and SBM operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise mooring crews responsible for ~11 million barrels and more than 300 vessel movements annually.

Qualifications

• Holder of Master’s Certificate (Home Trade) or pilot experience of at least 3 years in a major seaport.
• Experience in MR vessel and SBM pilotage; posses COP Foreign Going Class 2 / Master Home Trade.
• Good command of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance to all regulatory requirements/permits for jetty & SBM operations including mooring and pilotage services.
• Perform ship/shore safety checklist and conduct pre-cargo transfer conference with loading master/jetty technician.
• Paper vetting of nominated tankers to ensure they meet Safety Guidelines, Port Requirements, Jetty & SBM limitations.

Education

Master's Certificate (Home Trade)

Experience as pilot for 3 years in major seaport

Certificate of Competency Foreign Going Class 2 / Master Home trade

Good command of English
