Job summary

Petron Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Marine Facilities professional to lead jetty and SBM operations, supervise a mooring crew, and provide expert marine guidance to the refinery during cargo transfers.

This role requires a Master’s Certificate (Home Trade) or equivalent pilotage experience, strong English, and a willingness to be based at Petron Port Dickson Refinery in Negeri Sembilan. You will drive safety, compliance, and security programs across marine facilities.

Qualifications

• Master's Certificate (Home Trade) or 3+ years’ pilotage in a major seaport.
• MR vessel experience and SBM pilotage.
• Certificate of Competency Foreign Going Class 2 / Master Home Trade.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with regulatory permits for jetty, SBM, mooring and pilotage.
• Supervise mooring crews and oversee operations handling ~11 million barrels annually.
• Provide expert marine advice to Petron Refinery during cargo transfer and jetty activities.
• Act as Marine Facilities Security Officer or AMFSO as required.
• Maintain and audit the Marine Facility Security Plan and related procedures.
