Job summary

Petron Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Marine Facilities Pilot to oversee jetty and SBM operations at the Port Dickson refinery. You will monitor regulatory compliance, conduct safety checks, and provide expert marine guidance during cargo transfers and vessel movements.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Certificate (Home Trade) or equivalent seaport pilot experience, excellent English, and willingness to be based in Negeri Sembilan. Prior SBM pilotage and CPPC/ISPS familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Certificate (Home Trade) or 3+ years as a seaport pilot.
• Strong command of English and knowledge of maritime regulation.
• Based at Petron Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan; SBM pilotage experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory compliance for jetty, SBM operations, mooring, and pilotage.
• Perform ship/shore safety check and pre-cargo transfer conference.
• Vet nominated tankers for safety guidelines and port requirements.
• Supervise mooring crew and manage high-volume vessel traffic.
• Advise refinery on marine matters during cargo transfer; ISPS duties.
