Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Java Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support and develop payment applications. You will work on Java Spring Boot projects, ensure system health, and troubleshoot complex production issues in a regulated financial environment.

You will collaborate with infrastructure and development teams, assist with deployments, document procedures, and contribute to security and compliance practices while delivering high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Java application development, maintenance or production support.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Oracle Database and SQL troubleshooting.
• Unix/Linux experience and command-line proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 maintenance and production support for payment applications.
• Monitor performance and respond to production incidents within SLAs.
• Investigate and troubleshoot application and system issues with senior engineers.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement fixes.
• Assist with deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation.
