Job summary

JEV Management & Trading in Malaysia seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot to build, secure, and scale payment ecosystems. You will work on gateways, wallets, QR payments, and POS integrations, ensuring reliability and compliance.

Collaborate with product, compliance, and infra teams; require 4–6 years of experience, proficiency in RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and frontend tech. On-site role based in Seri Kembangan.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years hands-on software development experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Java & Spring Boot.
• Strong RESTful API development experience.
• SQL/NoSQL knowledge.
• Frontend exposure using AngularJS and/or React Native; HTML, CSS & JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience with application & database development and problem solving.
• Fintech or Payment Services experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, scalable payment gateway solutions.
• Develop online & offline payment capabilities.
• Integrate APIs with banks, processors, wallets, QR systems and POS platforms.
• Build backend payment services and user-facing portals.
• Develop and maintain application & database code.
• Participate in system architecture and technical reviews.
• Build secure transaction logging and reconciliation capabilities.
• Support releases, patches, incident management & problem resolution.
