Job summary

dtcpay in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned Java Backend Developer to design and build scalable backend microservices for our payments and wallet platforms.

You will own modules end-to-end from design to deployment, implement RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and MyBatis, and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with Redis and messaging queues. This onsite role requires strong English and Mandarin communication with Chinese vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Java backend development experience with full lifecycle delivery.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and MyBatis.
• Experience with relational databases and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and develop scalable backend microservices and APIs.
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend modules across design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Design and implement reliable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, MyBatis, and distributed system principles.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, product teams, and senior engineers to define API specifications and meet schedules.
