Job summary

TNG Digital Remittance is seeking a Java backend developer to build and maintain high-performance applications. You will write clean, well-documented code following industry standards and work with senior developers to design, develop, and implement new features.

The role emphasizes code quality, testing, and collaboration in a fast-paced fintech environment. You should have 3+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Spring, and a solid understanding of OOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as above.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Java development building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Experience in fintech or financial applications is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with vibe coding or similar AI-assisted development approaches is encouraged.
• Proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks (e.g. Spring).
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining high performance backend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
• Support debugging and troubleshooting to ensure smooth functionality.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve coding skills.
• Ensure system performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Maintain and enhance critical business modules for reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Identify and mitigate risks during design and development phases.
• Design and implement system architecture in line with requirements.
• Provide innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
