Job summary

SILVERLAKE is looking for a Java Application Developer to create high-impact banking applications affecting millions of users. You will lead projects from concept to deployment, ensuring the application’s performance and compliance.

The role demands at least 8 years of experience in Java development, with skills in JSF, XHTML, and IBM DB2. You’ll collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions while maintaining a focus on security and quality.

Local citizens and permanent residents are preferred, and the company may sponsor qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) web application development.
• Proficient in Java, JSF, XHTML, CSS, Jasper Reports, and IBM DB2 queries.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs.
• Build scalable backend and frontend code using Java, JSF, XHTML, and CSS.
• Test system performance and optimize complex IBM DB2 database queries.
• Secure banking applications by enforcing compliance and guidelines.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver software systems.
