Job summary

TNG Digital Remittance is seeking a Java backend developer to build and maintain high-performance applications. You will write clean, well-documented code following industry standards and work with senior developers to design, develop, and implement new features.

The role emphasizes code quality, testing, and collaboration in a fast-paced fintech environment. You should have 3+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Spring, and a solid understanding of OOP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as above.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Java development building scalable, high-performance applications.
• Experience in fintech or financial applications is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with vibe coding or similar AI-assisted development approaches is encouraged.
• Proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks (e.g. Spring).
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.

What You\'ll Do

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in Java, Cloud Computing or related technologies are a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.
• Experience working in the fintech industry or on financial applications is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with vibe coding or similar AI-assisted development approaches is highly encouraged.
• Proficiency in Java and understanding of Java-based frameworks (e.g. Spring).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL databases) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or MyBatis.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g. JUnit, TestNG, Mockito).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Understanding of basic web technologies and RESTful API development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
