Nadi Tech, part of TNG Digital Group, is hiring a senior Java developer in Kuala Lumpur to build scalable, high-performance applications for fintech and other large-scale platforms.

You will work on Java-based systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs, with focus on performance tuning, security, and reliability. The role offers mentorship opportunities and growth in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience leading development teams or mentoring junior developers.
• Hands-on with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting in high-throughput environments.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (JUnit/TestNG/Mockito) and Java tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure Java-based applications aligned with business requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of development tasks and adherence to project timelines.
• Implement coding standards and conduct regular code reviews for security and quality.
• Optimize application performance to meet benchmarks for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests and collaborate with QA on automated testing strategies.
• Provide production support and incident management to minimize downtime.
