Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Subang Jaya, Malaysia is seeking an ITGC Compliance Manager to strengthen IT controls across the business. You will embed ITGCs, analyze control effectiveness, and support risk governance with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• IT professional with significant post-qualification IT experience.
• Experience implementing governance, policies and standards across IT environments.
• Strong controls and risk-management skills with cost-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Embed and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) across service lines and processes.
• Analyze compliance and control effectiveness, identifying gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Recommend risk and control improvements to management and governance bodies.
• Support action plans from controls health checks, IRIs, audits and SOX testing.
• Act as part of the First Line of Defense, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Coordinate and supervise team activities and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive continuous learning in risk management, internal controls, audit and compliance.
