Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Subang Jaya, Malaysia is seeking an ITGC Compliance Manager to lead IT General Controls within the BAT Digital Business (DBS) Compliance team. The role focuses on control framework development, risk assessment, and coordination with risk, audit and business stakeholders.

We value strong analytical skills, governance experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification IT experience with strong IT processes and governance.
• Experience in IT SOX/IT Audit and IT risk controls.
• Ability to analyse controls, identify gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Embed and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) across DBS service lines and processes.
• Analyze compliance and control effectiveness, identifying gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Recommend risk and control improvements to DBS management.
• Support execution and closure of action plans from controls health checks, IRIs, audits, SOX testing, and other assessments.
• Act as part of the First Line of Defense and collaborate with risk, control, audit, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate and supervise team activities (where applicable).
• Drive continuous learning and capability development in risk management and internal controls.
