Job summary

BAT is seeking an ITGC Compliance Manager in Subang Jaya, Malaysia to strengthen IT general controls across Digital Business services. You will partner with risk, control, audit, and business stakeholders to ensure robust governance and timely remediation of issues.

Role requires significant IT experience, strong control mindset, and ability to drive improvements within the first line of defense. Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification IT experience with strong IT process understanding.
• Experience implementing policies, standards and governance across IT environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for risk identification.
• Ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Embed and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) across DBS service lines and processes.
• Analyze compliance and control effectiveness, identifying gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Suggest risk and control improvements to DBS management and governance.
• Support action plans arising from controls health checks, IRIs, audits, and SOX testing.
