Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks an ITGC Compliance Manager to drive IT General Controls across DBS, supporting risk governance and audit activities. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, policy implementation, and collaboration with management to strengthen control environments.

You will lead efforts on remediation, policy adherence, and IT risk management while partnering with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Operations in a matrix structure.

Qualifications

• Substantial post-qualification experience in IT industry or graduate with significant post-graduate experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT processes and governance frameworks.
• Experience on compliance projects, policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure IT General controls are embedded across DBS.
• Provide analysis to remediate non-compliance against control frameworks.
• Recommend improvements to management and support risk governance.
• Assist in maintenance and development of IT General Control.
• Support SOX testing, audits and action plans with DBS management.
• Supervise team work to ensure timely, professional delivery.
• Develop self and team through training in risk and internal controls.
