Job summary

Ichia Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive IT Executive to support the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, and day-to-day IT operations. The role involves providing technical support to employees, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring secure operation of the IT environment.

The candidate will handle first/second level support, manage user accounts, assist with security measures, and coordinate with external vendors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in IT/CS/IS or related field.
• 2–5 years IT experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of hardware, software, Windows OS and networking.
• Troubleshooting PCs, printers, network, and common software issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, cybersecurity.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems is a plus.
• Good communication and problem solving abilities.
• Independent and team player, willing to work after hours if needed.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT systems and perform routine maintenance for availability and performance.

• Assist with backups, data recovery, antivirus and endpoint security.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, Windows operating systems, and networking.

• Experience in troubleshooting PCs, printers, network connectivity, and common software issues.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic cybersecurity.

• Experience with ERP/MES systems or manufacturing IT systems will be an added advantage.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to provide IT support outside normal working hours when required.

• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
