Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring an IT Systems, Network & Customer Support Engineer in Johor Bahru. The role blends remote and onsite work, with regular cross-border travel to Singapore and reporting to the Singapore office twice weekly.

You will manage IT operations, configure SQL Server environments, and support clinical photography workflows. Requires 3–7 years in IT and solid Windows networking skills; transport and cross-border travel are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server/SQL Express and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Good understanding of Windows networking including TCP/IP, DNS, SMB shares, firewalls, and VLANs.
• Experience managing corporate software accounts (SAP/ERP, CRM, cloud storage, Office suites).
• Experience supporting photography workflows or photo management apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support to clinics and customers in Singapore and related companies in the region.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot medical photography software, SQL-based apps, NAS/SMB paths, image storage, and network connectivity.
• Assist with workstation setup, migrations, device configuration, and end‑user training.
• Manage internal IT operations including device setup, OS issues, networking, printers, and hardware support.
• Administer corporate software accounts (SAP/ERP, CRM, cloud storage, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace).
• Create, manage, and secure user accounts, permissions, licenses, and 2FA policies.
• Install and administer SQL Server/SQL Express for internal and customer systems; perform backups/restores.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, DNS, SMB/NAS sharing, and network paths.
• Support medical photography workflows and media management software used by clinical staff.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management; oversee procurement and tagging.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic system checks for reliability.
