Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage and support enterprise IT environments, including servers, storage, and virtualization, across Windows and Linux platforms.

You will monitor performance, implement patching and security measures, manage AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams on compliance and incident remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in IT infrastructure, systems administration or operations.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy knowledge.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V and storage/backup solutions.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Cloud platforms familiarity (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices.
• ITIL-based service management and strong problem solving.

Job description

• Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and operating systems.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, system migrations, data centre deployments, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or IT Operations.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms
• Enterprise storage and backup solutions
• Network technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
• Firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco
• Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
