Job summary

Risewave Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT systems administrator to manage daily operations of servers, storage, and virtualization, ensuring stability, security, and compliance.

You will perform routine administration, patching, backups, log analysis, and monitor the IT infrastructure. The role focuses on high availability, disaster recovery, and project-based system improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 5 years of system administration or infra management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, server management, and virtualization (VMware).
• Experience with networks (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, security).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery and monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation and maintenance of servers, storage, and virtualization to ensure system stability, security, and compliance.

• Monitor and maintain network and IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
• Administer databases and application systems, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and system performance.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, regularly testing recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Support IT infrastructure optimization, system upgrades, and technology improvement projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Provide technical support and participate in IT projects, including system implementation, migration, and optimization.
